You might ask yourself why is it necessary to modify an APK^* released for an Android 9 based Zidoo Player (Z9X, Z10 Pro, Z1000 Pro, UHD3000) to get it work on Zidoo Players running Android 6 (X8, X9S, X10)/7.1 (Z9S, Z10, X20, X20 Pro, Z1000, UHD2000) and what has to be modified.

Update for modded APKs

After a comment regarding Home Theater v4.0.39 is not working on X8 I’ve rechecked my creation process. By mistake I’ve created the modded APKs with API Level 25 (Android 7.1 Nougat) and not with API Level 23 (Android 6 Marshmallow).*

To get an idea what you like and what not, I’ve added a voting plugin to my site. The plugin is GDPR ready and it stores IP addresses in a hashed anonymized form. I’ve setup one vote per IP address/button.
